
BRIDGET
PERRIN GARDNER,
Licensed Acupuncturist and Chinese Herbalist
Bridget received her Masters of Science Degree in Traditional Chinese
Medicine from Yo San University in 1998. Yo San University is run by the
world famous Maoshing and Daoshing Ni, seventh generation acupuncturists.
Since then, she
has furthered her studies in orthopedics, internal medicine, addiction detoxification
and facial rejuvenation. Post graduation, Bridget
completed an externship at the Wang Jing Traumatology Hospital in Beijing China.
In February of 2003, she opened Malibu Acupuncture & Herbs with
2 treatment rooms and a fully-stocked Chinese herbal pharmacy. She maintains
a busy private practice seeing patients in her office and traveling for house-calls. Currently,
she is also employed by two in-patient drug/ alcohol rehabilitation centers in
Malibu.
Bridget is licensed
by the state of California and the National Certification Commission of Acupuncture
and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) in acupuncture and Chinese herbology. She is nationally
board certified in Acupuncture Orthopedics (NBAO) and certified by the National
Acupuncture Detoxification Association (NADA). She
is also a member of the California State Oriental Medical Association.
Bridget is a 3rd
generation Malibu-ite and spends her leisure time gardening, surfing, practicing
yoga and dance, and hiking in the Santa Monica Mountains. Bridget
is a Topanga Canyon Docent and volunteers in Topanga State Park. She lives in
Topanga with her husband Michael and her dog, Decker. |
